Boondi Raita

Ingredients

For the raita

  • 260 g Curd (dahi), whisked and watered down
  • 80 g Boondi
  • 3 g Salt
  • 2 g Dried chillies, powdered
  • 2 g Cumin seed / jeera, roasted and powdered

To serve

  • 8 g Coriander leaves, chopped
  • 8 g Coriander leaves, chopped

Instructions:

For the raita

  • In a bowl, whisk curd until smooth. Add 100ml water to thin the curd and mix.
  • Add salt, cumin powder and red chilli powder, Mix well.
  • Add the boondi. Mix, and allow the boondi to soak and soften for ~5 minutes.

To serve

  • Transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
