Ingredients
For the sabzi
- 16 ml Sunflower oil
- 1 g Cumin seed / jeera, whole
- 120 g Onion, chopped
- 12 g Garlic, chopped finely
- 4 g Ginger, fresh, chopped finely
- 160 g Mushroom, button, raw, washed and sliced
- 200 g Peas, green, shelled, raw
- 1 g Turmeric / haldi
- 2 g Coriander seeds - whole / ground
- 2 g Dried chillies, powdered
- 2 g Salt
- 0.5 g Garam Masala
- 2 g Amchur, powdered
Instructions:
For the sabzi
- In a pan, heat oil until nearly smoking. Add cumin seeds and allow these to crackle.
- Add onions and saute until golden, about 5 minutes.
- Add ginger, garlic, mushrooms, peas, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and red chilli powder. Mix well and saute on medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms and peas are cooked.
- Add garam masala and amchur. Mix and saute for ~1 minute.
To serve
- Transfer to serving dish. Serve hot.
