Soybean Atta is made by finely grinding whole, cleaned soybeans into a soft flour. It has a warm, nutty flavour and is valued for being naturally high in plant-based protein. When added to regular rotis, parathas, dosa or chilla batter, it helps increase the overall protein density of everyday meals — especially useful in vegetarian or plant-forward diets.
Soybeans also provide dietary fibre and naturally occurring compounds like isoflavones, which are well-studied plant antioxidants. The flour retains these components, giving it both its characteristic aroma and subtle richness.
Because soybean flour is naturally gluten-free and has a different dough behaviour than wheat, it is commonly blended with other flours rather than used alone.
