Khand is a traditional, minimally refined cane sugar. It is made by slow boiling sugarcane juice and allowing the crystals to form naturally. This keeps more of the sugarcane’s natural aroma and trace minerals intact. The result is a warm, caramel-like sweetness that blends easily in tea, coffee and Indian sweets, without the sharpness of refined white sugar.
Our Khand Sugar is free of added whiteners and anti-caking agents. Crystal size may vary as it is not industrially milled. The light cream colour is natural and reflects the sugarcane variety and seasonal harvest.
Use it as a daily sweetener in beverages, porridges, kheer, laddoos and home baking. It dissolves quickly and does not mask flavours.
